Terms and Conditions

Thank you for supporting my small homebased bakery.  I am so excited to begin work on your order because I love creating smiles for your special moments and celebrations! Below are a list of terms and agreements that you as the client agree to abide by while conducting business with Koo-Weh Cookies LLC.

Allergens

Koo-Weh Cookies is a homebased bakery operating under the New Mexico Homemade Food Act.  All products are home produced and exempt from state licensing and inspection. Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as and not limited to: dairy, nuts, eggs, wheat, and food dyes.  Products are not gluten free.  Clients agree to inform people who are the recipients of these delicious cookies of allergen information and clients agree not to hold Koo-Weh Cookies LLC responsible for any reactions from consuming our products.

Ordering

Please provide as much detail on the order form.  This helps me to determine the appropriate pricing level your order falls under to generate the quote.  You will be notified if the date you are requesting is unavailable.  I strive to respond to order inquires as quickly as possible which is usually in 2 to 3 days.

I do ask for creative freedom on orders received.  Keep all the fun and creative themes coming because with every order you are helping me to expand and improve my designing skills.  Your color palette is important to me and don’t worry if you do not have one in mind because I can create beautiful colors to go with your theme.  You are also welcome to send any inspiration photos to koowehcookies@gmail.com with the subject heading: <your name> + Inspiration Pics.  I aim to personalize your order because it’s your special event!

Payment and Fees

Invoices are sent via Square to the email provided on the Order Inquiry Form and payment must be received in full to secure your order on my calendar.  Invoices should be paid within two days otherwise there is the risk of forfeiting that date if another client submits an order inquiry for the same timeframe.

A $20 rush fee will be imposed if an order is accepted 10 calendar days or less from the required date.  (ex: required date is 9/30/2021; order date comes in on 9/20/2021; the rush fee will apply)

Refunds and Cancellations

The work on your order begins long before your required date.  I check inventory on supplies, tools, order new items if necessary, and start on the design process for your order.  All of this takes time to complete.  However, in the event you have to cancel an order please review the policies below to see if you are eligible for a refund.

You are eligible for a:

  • Full refund if you cancel more than 30 calendar days from your required date.

(example: required date 9/30/21; You cancel on 8/30/21; full refund.)

  • Partial refund if you cancel 30 calendar days to 15 calendar days from your required date.  A 20% cancellation fee will apply.

(example: required date 9/30/21; You cancel on 8/15/21; partial refund.)

  • Full refund in the rare event I cannot complete your order due to an emergency or illness.

You are not eligible for a refund:

  • If you cancel 14 calendar days or less from your required date.

(example: required date 9/30/21; You cancel on 9/16/21; No refund.)

  • If you are a no show on agreed pickup date and time.

  • If the cookies become damaged after pickup. I recommend not stacking the bakery boxes.

Thank you for taking the time to read our policies and I cannot wait to begin the process on your order!  Again, I truly appreciate your support of my small business.  Now let’s put a little Koo-Weh-Ness into your life!
